Kendrick Perkins calls out Scottie Pippen’s criticism of Kevin Durant’s game, calls it stupid and unjustified. 

What was Kevin Durant supposed to do?

With an injured James Harden on the floor, and Kyrie Irving completely off it, Kevin Durant had to put the team on his back against the Bucks. Worse, during the series, it almost seemed like no one on the Nets could buy a bucket on too many occasions. So KD did what he does best, score the basketball.

However, in recent times, Chicago Bulls legend Scottie Pippen took issue with Durant and his game. Essentially, the former player accused the Nets star to play the wrong way during this series. Moreover, he believed that the Slim Reaper, in his final form, should’ve shared the rock more.

As you’d expect the NBA community is having none of it. Fans from across the world are calling out the 6-time champion. And recently, former player and ESPN analyst Kendrick Perkins chose to join in the fun as well.

Kendrick Perkins believes that Scottie Pippen’s thoughts on Kevin Durant are nothing less than “ridiculous”

Kendrick Perkins may be a lot of things, but shy has never been one of them. During his time as a player, and even now as an analyst, the man has always spoken his mind. And frankly, in cases like this one, we admire that about him.

Most analysts on television have been slightly but noticeably reserved on the topic. They seem to be afraid of telling the great Scottie Pippen when he is wrong. But Big Perk? Well, take a look.

Frankly, we couldn’t agree with Kendrick Perkins more in this situation.

Everyone around him was either hobbling, off the floor, or struggling massively against a dominant Bucks side. The only player that could actually make a difference was the Slim Reaper.

So, we ask you again Scottie Pippen. What was Kevin Durant supposed to do?
