Despite Only a $45 Million Salary Ja Morant is Set to Make $1,000,000,000 Before LeBron James and Michael Jordan Could

In this day and age, the NBA is filled with stars. However, only the rare few can elevate themselves to superstars. And, with his electrifying style of play, Ja Morant has already reached that level. He even has the salary to prove it. Earning $45 million at just the age of 23, the Grizzlies star is projected to become a billionaire by the age of 30. Well before both Michael Jordan and LeBron James.

Just last year, Morant signed a huge five-year deal with the Memphis Grizzlies. A deal that nets him an average salary of $38 million. This comes out to around $194 million over five years, with the entire amount guaranteed. This coupled with his numerous endorsements which include Beats, Hulu, and Powerade make for a pretty package. Not to mention his $75 million signature shoe deal with Nike which can only grow bigger with time.

Granted, his off-the-court issues are concerning. But, if things improve, we could be looking at the fastest player to become a billionaire in the NBA.

Ja Morant is well on his way to becoming a billionaire faster than both Michael Jordan and LeBron James

Ja Morant takes home about $45 million a year. His rookie max deal along with his many endorsements, investments and more allow for this. Despite his questionable decisions off the court, Ja has made some smart moves to secure his future wealth.

He has bagged endorsement deals with some of the biggest brands in the world and has wisely invested his money. Not only does he own equity in Hyeperice valued at $700 million, but he also has an increasing interest in real estate.

If he continues to make and invest his money wisely, gets his act straight, and grow his net worth he could become a billionaire by 2029 at the age of 30. A lot sooner than both Michael Jordan at the age of 53, and LeBron James who became a billionaire just last year.

It certainly would be something to see. But, as mentioned earlier, all that could be under threat thanks to his off-the-court issues.

Morant’s potential billionaire status is under threat due to his gun-related issues

There is indeed great potential for Ja Morant to become a billionaire by the time he is 30. With his massive Nike deal and the $194 million NBA contract set to kick in this season, the possibility is huge. But unfortunately, Ja has put all that under threat.

His decision to not only publically flash a gun not once but twice has put him in hot water. And, with rumors suggesting he could miss an entire season, the chances of him becoming the fastest NBA billionaire could go up in smoke.

Hopefully, he learns from his mistakes and changes his attitude fast. Otherwise, that billionaire status could end up just being a pipe dream.
