Kentavious Caldwell-Pope Lost $150,000 Worth Of Loot
The Lakers guard was taking a relaxing night off, hanging around with a few of his friends in his driveway when, according to TMZ, a car pulled up to his house.
Three gunmen exited the vehicle and demanded several of KCP’s possessions. They had their guns drawn and were ready to use them if need be.
They demanded KCP and his friends hand over several of their possessions including a Rolex watch, jewelry, and an iPhone. The men then made off in the same vehicle with around $150,000 worth of loot.
TMZ has tried to make contact with Caldwell-Pope and his camp, but they haven’t received any comment yet. The Lakers guard’s situation is still being investigated by the Los Angeles Police Department.
Fortunately for everyone, the situation didn’t escalate, and KCP is in good hands now. Recovering from the incident may take some time, but at least he was left unscathed, and really that’s all you can ask for in a situation like this.:
As I noted in my story, this Instagram post from KCP’s wife McKenzie hits a bit harder today. Glad everyone is reportedly okay.https://t.co/yjfUIcZztz pic.twitter.com/i0ONmg5Wuh
