Nikki Bella reacts to John Cena wanting to have children. Nikki and John were engaged to be married but decided to split just before their wedding.

Nikki Bella and John Cena had a very public relationship. The WWE stars began dating back in 2012 and at Wrestlemania 33 in 2017, Cena asked her to marry him to which the former WWE Divas Champion said yes. However, the couple called off their engagement just one month short of their wedding.

One of the reasons why they went their ways is said to be the difference in their stance regarding children. While Nikki wanted children, Cena did not. The Cenation leader however, seems to have had a change of mind. He recently admitted being open to having children with wife Shay Shariatzadeh.

A source close to the Bella Twins told Hollywood Life that Nikki Bella is not holding Cena’s desire to be a parent against him.  In fact, she is happy for him and wishes the best for him instead.

“No matter what decisions John makes, that is his and Shay’s business. Nikki is happy for him and wishes him all the best, she’s happy living her own life.”

“Nikki knows that people change throughout their journey in life and that they make the best decisions based on where they’re at during that point in time. She would never imagine holding something like him changing his mind about having a baby against him and thinks it’s an amazing blessing that would bring such joy to his life, if that’s what he wants.”

While Cena married Shay, Nikki is yet to marry her fiance Artem Chigvintsev due to the Pandemic playing spoilsport putting their a halt to their planned Thanksgiving wedding. She has a child, a son, with Artem. The couple became proud parents last year in July.
