LeBron James just wants to make Michael Jordan proud
An entire generation idolized Michael Jordan growing up. Whenever he stepped on the court, his Airness gave it his all and never failed to impress. Just like tons of other kids, LeBron James grew up with Michael Jordan as his idol.
For the longest time, LeBron and his career have been measure using Jordan’s achievements as yardsticks. With the release of Space Jam: A New Legacy, the comparisons would move beyond the court as well. Talking to the press at the event, LeBron said,
“I hope I continue to make Michael proud,” LeBron said. “He’s someone I looked up to as a kid and hopefully this is another step in that direction.”
