“LeBron James, Kyrie, Harden, Anthony Davis and myself”: Kevin Durant names his preferred NBA 2K starting lineup exclusively with Lakers and Nets superstars
Kevin Durant reveals his preferred NBA 2K lineup. Includes LeBron James, Kyrie Irving, James Harden, Anthony Davis and himself on that starting five.
Recently, 2K Games revealed the cover athletes for their upcoming NBA 2K22 game. Over three editions of the games, five basketball legends will be gracing the covers. Luka Doncic, Candace Parker and Kevin Durant, Kareem Abdul-Jabbar and Dirk Nowitzki have the honour of being the cover athletes of the game which is to be released this September.
KD, coming off a legendary season, is known to be an avid 2K gamer, besides being a tyrant to defend on the court. Durantula has often spoken about the game and how much being on the cover meant to him.
Shortly after 2K Games announced the cover athletes, Kevin gave an interview talking about the game. Amongst a series of interesting questions, the 2014 MVP was asked:
“If you were to form a team in the game, which active NBA players are in your lineup?”
To which KD selected a few of the game’s greats. The two-time champ answered:
“I always get in trouble when asked these type of questions because I’m going to forget somebody. There’s so many great players,” Durant said. “But off the top, if I had to go five, I would go Kyrie [Irving], James [Harden], myself, LeBron [James], and Anthony Davis.”
