“Lakers Big 3 over the Nets Big 3”: Kendrick Perkins outrageously explains why LeBron James and the Lakers are better than Kevin Durant and co
ESPN analyst Kendrick Perkins makes an outrageous claim, calls LeBron James and his Big 3 better than Kevin Durant and his Big 3
The Los Angeles Lakers made a dent in the league last night with their Draft night trade. They acquired Russell Westbrook by giving a few role players and a first-round pick. With these latest changes, the Lakers now have a Big 3 of their own.
While some claim this move guarantees the Lakers the 2022 championship, others are questioning how the three would gel together. The trio of LeBron James, Russell Westbrook, and Anthony Davis would sure be an interesting one to keep an eye on. While the team looks stacked on paper, the main question is can they replicate the same on the court? Another question in everyone’s mind is whether the Lakers’ 3 can take down a healthy Brooklyn Nets. Kendrick Perkins sure seems to think so.
Kendrick Perkins picks LeBron and his 3 over Kevin Durant and the Nets’ 3
There are a lot of analysts in the current day NBA known for their ‘bold’ takes. Kendrick Perkins is certainly one of them. Big Perk made yet another ‘bold’ claim recently. After the trade, Perkins was on the ‘Get Up’ show on ESPN with Zach Lowe. There he was asked which trio is better, the Lakers’ Big 3 or the Nets’ Big 3.
Perkins replied and picked the Lakers as the better option. He credited LeBron James’ IQ and then claimed Anthony Davis and LBJ are the best duos since Kobe and Shaq.
Y’all can have it!!! Don’t @ me and carry the hell on… https://t.co/Tg5rhQtK46

Calling the Lakers trio better than the Nets may be a stretch too far. While the Lakers have a proven duo and added a bonafide guard, they have no shooters. Without any perimeter shooting and floor spacing, the Lakers have no chance at taking down a healthy Nets team.
