“Damian Lillard is still trying to recruit Draymond Green”: Sources reveal that the Blazers’ star and the Warriors’ star have been close in the Olympic camp
Blazers’ superstar Damian Lillard is trying to recruit Draymond Green, sources share that they have great chemistry in the Olympic village
The core of the Golden State Warriors and the Portland Blazers is eerily similar. You have two highly skilled guards, who can drop any number of points, on any given night, as per their will. However, the Warriors have an advantage as they have Draymond Green at their core. Green is their defensive backbone and the adhesive that keeps the team together.
The Blazers have been trying their hand at recruiting Draymond since forever, but have had no luck. Seeing Damian Lillard and Draymond Green get along so well at the Olympics, there has been a rise in rumors yet again. With the chances of Lillard getting traded being very low now, people assume that he is out recruiting for co-stars now.
Damian Lillard wants Draymond Green on the Blazers
Within the span of the last few months alone, Damian Lillard and the Blazers have shown their interest in Draymond Green. However, there is no chance that the Warriors give up on a talent like Draymond, unless they get someone equally as valuable in return. To get someone like that in return would mean either one of the core pieces of the Blazers. That would defeat the entire purpose of the same.
Damian Lillard and Draymond Green have been hanging out a lot at the Olympics, and it seems like they enjoy each other’s company.
“Draymond and Damian are buddies. They love to hang out with each other and play with each other. I think Dame would like to get Draymond to the Blazers”

This has sparked a lot of rumors yet again. However, it seems like they would be in vain as well. Dame tried his hand at the same when the Warriors got knocked out against the Grizzlies as well.
Currently, the two stars are playing against Australia for the Finals berth at the Tokyo Olympics.
