“Dwyane Wade has no rapport with players on The Cube”: NBA fans criticize Heat legend for his bland onscreen personality while hosting TBC game show ‘The Cube’
Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade is unable to replicate his on-court persona on the game show The Cube.
The 3x NBA champion is one of the best shooting guards in the history of the league. Wade had an illustrious 16-year career in the NBA. Flash could definitely play both ends of the floor.
After retiring from the sport, the 39-year old has been indulging in various activities that include a mix of recreation and business.
In 2021 D-Wade decided to host the show, The Cube. Though initially, he was on board only as an executive producer for the show.
Based on the U.K. hit, the game gives two-person teams nine shots to complete seven physical tasks, all while locked inside a plexiglass box. The Cube consists of players taking part in a series of games to win up to $250,000, and one of the lifelines afforded to contestants was having Wade himself sub in for one of the challenges.

Not sure how many more Dwyane Wade The Cube commercials I can take before I lash out.

This commercial where Dwyane Wade says basketball is easier than The Cube was probably not a good idea for either basketball or The Cube

The Miami Heat veteran has been unable to transition into the role of a host if his latest shows reviews are to go by. The game show itself hasn’t found too many takers, with a 5.2 IMDB rating.
