“You don’t know WHAT you’ve just done” – Bronson Reed issues statement following WWE NXT release
Bronson Reed issues statement following WWE NXT release. The former North American Champion was part of the mass NXT releases.
Bronson Reed was released from NXT earlier in the night. The Collosus was one of twelve names that have been let go by the promotion. Several names on the list were surprising but none surpasses Reed. In fact, many believed he was main roster bound.

Reed beat Johnny Gargano inside a steel cage to win the North America Championship back in May. He eventually dropped the title to Isaiah “Swerve” Scott after which reports emerged that he was wrestling dark matches on RAW and SmackDown.
Many were under the impression that he would soon make his debut on the main roster. Instead however, he has departed the company and is no longer part of the promotion. The Collosus took to social media to comment on his release from WWE.

Interestingly, Reed tagged every major pro-wrestling company there is in the world today, signalling that his future could be just about anywhere.
Reed is only 32 years old. He is in the prime of his career and his short run with the North American Championship is proof of what he can do when given the responsibility and limelight.
Unlike the main roster contracts, NXT contracts only have a 30-day No Compete clause, which means the Collosus could find himself in a new promotion by September 5th at the earliest. It will be interesting to see where he turns up next.
