NBA analyst Skip Bayless compliments Kevin Durant on winning Gold in the Olympics while taking yet another shot at LeBron James

The Team USA have done it. After a month of training and then the Olympics, they have emerged out of the grind as the champions of the world once again. Despite the initial setbacks, which had people questioning the squad and the coach alike, the Americans stood their ground, and the result speaks for itself.

Team USA took down France 87-82 in a thrilling Gold-medal contest. Neither team showed any signs of giving up till the end, and it was all that one would expect from a Finale. Kevin Durant led the way and scored 29 points and grabbed 6 rebounds. Had KD scored one more point, he would have had three straight gold-medal matches with 30 points.

Skip Bayless praises Kevin Durant while taking a shot at LeBron James

Kevin Durant has now played in three Olympics and has won three Gold medals in the same. He has been a class apart in each of the gold-medal games for sure, but this time, he was magnificent throughout the tournament. Durant became the leading scorer for the USA in the Olympics during the group stages and has only added to his tally since.

During games where others struggled to get going, Durant kept the USA afloat, which eventually led to the win. Skip Bayless used the news of the Gold Medal to compliment KD. While doing the same, he took yet another shot at LeBron James as well.
