Batista may be close to a WWE return very soon
“The Animal” Batista has been one of the most dominant superstars in the company’s history. His physique, his move set and the ability to put on great matches has set him apart from the rest.
Batista was a guest on the Jim Ross podcast recently, where he talked the possibility of him returning back to the WWE.
Batista cleared the air by revealing that his love for pro wrestling never died despite several people stating otherwise, he elaborated further by stating that he is open to a return to the WWE as he holds no grudges despite the way WWE handles it’s business.
He continued by saying that he doesn’t want his return to be just a “one-off” appearance and would rather like to make a complete return to the company.
He also added that the possibility of injury bothers him as it would get in the way of his successful Hollywood career and also stressed on the topic of ring rust which really affected his last run with the WWE.
Batista admitted that he would love to work alongside “The Game” Triple H if he returns, as he feels that his Evolution stablemate would help him getting back into his groove.
Batista’s last run with the company was highly disappointing and was not well received by the fans, his victory at the Royal Rumble 2014 was embraced with hatred.
Batista soon departed despite main eventing WrestleMania 30 to focus on his Hollywood career, which has seen a stellar rise with mainstream roles in movies such as “Guardians Of The Galaxy”, Spectre and Blade Runner 2049.
