“You left me too much time, so I hit the f–king game-winner”: DeMar DeRozan Recaps How Kobe Bryant Hit A Cold Blooded Game Winner After Taunting Raptors Bench
Kobe Bryant has hit some crazy game winners in his NBA including one on DeMar DeRozan and the Raptors after taunting them.
DeMar DeRozan was always a Kobe Bryant fan growing up as being raised in Compton, LA, and then going on to play for the University of Southern California in Los Angeles, Kobe was always an idol for the Bulls guard/forward.
DeRozan started his NBA career with the Toronto Raptors where he played for nine seasons before he was traded to the San Antonio Spurs in a blockbuster deal for Kawhi Leonard. He played three years there before joining the Chicago Bulls this offseason.
DeMar DeRozan: “It’s basketball. Lot of people I see criticizing, talking about ‘fit this, fit that’ have probably never even played basketball… for me, if everybody is on the same page mentality and wants to win, it don’t matter about a fit.”

DeMar DeRozan Recaps Epic Kobe Bryant Buzzer Beater Story
Kobe has had some memorable performances against the Toronto Raptors. His best by far was his 81 point outburst in a comeback bid against the Raptors.

However, there’s also this one time when Kobe decided to call a game winner to the Raptors’ bench, including DeMar DeRozan, before hitting the shot to seal the deal for Los Angeles Lakers.
It was an absolutely cold blooded move by ‘The Black Mamba’, but it’s something that fits his fiery and competitive personality. DeRozan recalls:
“This motherf–ker walked past our bench while we was in the huddle and said ‘you left me too much time.’ Came out, hit the f–king game-winner.”
Kobe’s shot was no easy one either as you can see here:
“This motherf–ker walked past our bench while we was in the huddle and said ‘you left me too much time.’ Came out, hit the f–king game-winner.”

That’s about as icy as it can get, but it may have entirely been DeRozan’s fault that Kobe hit such a shot. DeRozan chose to wear Jordan’s for that particular game instead of Kobe’s, and the Lakers legend went at him all game long for his sneaker choice. He also decided to put a dagger in the hearts of the Raptors while he was at it too.
