Warriors’ star Draymond Green helps Damian Lillard spray champagne in Team USA’s locker room after the Gold-Medal win in Tokyo
It has been around a little over a week since the Tokyo 2020 Olympics concluded. Team USA Basketball achieved major successes, as both Men and Women bagged the Gold Medal in the 5v5 tournament. Men’s Team USA basketball squad had a lot of first-timers, with Kevin Durant leading them from the front.
After initial setbacks in practice games in Vegas, there were doubts about the team selected. Those doubts grew louder when Team USA dropped their opening game against France in Tokyo. However, after that game, the team went unbeaten and completed their revenge by taking down France in the Finals. Damian Lillard won his first Olympic Gold, while Draymond Green secured his second one. There was a celebration all around, and Lillard got a learning moment even during the celebration.
Draymond Green shows Damian Lillard how to spray the champagne
After Team USA took down France in the Finals, they made their way to the locker room to celebrate their win. There, they opened up bottles of champagne. While there were jets of champagne around, Damian Lillard could not replicate the result. Draymond Green stepped up and helped his buddy out.
It was Damian Lillard’s first time celebrating with champagne after winning the Gold Medal with Team USA. 🏅
Dame didn’t know how to spray it, so Draymond Green, the 3x champion, had to help him!
Will Dame ever win an NBA championship & get to celebrate this way? 🤔😳 pic.twitter.com/NRZsKU5DMQ

Green, a 3x NBA Champion and now a 2x Gold Medalist, has some experience with champagne. He imparted his wisdom to Damian Lillard, and hopefully, Dame would be able to implement it soon again.
