Goldberg talks Bobby Lashley ahead of their WWE Championship bout at SummerSlam. The WWE Hall of Famer had a lot to say about his opponent.

Goldberg is one of the biggest name in the world of wrestling and any wrestler would love to fight him, simply because of the eyes he brings to the product. The WWE Hall of Famer is aware of his status within the industry and mentioned that his upcoming match against Bobby Lashley is one that the Almighty may have fantasised about for years.

During an interview with Bleacher Report’s Graham Matthews, Goldberg spoke of his mindset heading into SummerSlam. He revealed that he had no problem with whoever the WWE placed in front of him to fight before sending a few words of warning towards the WWE Champion’s way.

“I’m not shying away from him. Give me the biggest, baddest guys you got. He’s going to see what it’s like to be in the ring with me, and I’m sure he’s fantasized about it for 20 years or whatever, as I have about being in the ring with him. But be careful what you wish for, big boy. That’s all I’ve got to say.”

“As a person, I’m extremely proud of [Lashley. As an opponent, let’s just say I’m going to be karma because the way he’s gone about his business—his character—I’m not a big fan of. As a human being, I am a great Bobby Lashley fan. There’s no doubt about it. I always have been. Big monster, athletic guy that poses a huge threat to anybody and everybody that gets in the ring with him? Hey, I want to get in the ring with that guy.”

SummerSlam 2021 will take place on August 21, 2021, at Allegiant Stadium in the Las Vegas suburb of Paradise, Nevada. It will be the 34th event under the SummerSlam chronology. It will also be the first to take place on a Saturday since the 1992 event; although it will be the first to air live on a Saturday.
