Roman Reigns MJF

Right now, there’s a lot of commonality between WWE’s Roman Reigns and AEW’s MJF. Both are currently holding the top position in their respective promotions. And on top of that, both men are portraying heel characters onscreen. Obviously, superstars of such caliber will always draw comparisons on social media. Inside The Ropes (ITR) did something similar with Roman Reigns and MJF recently.

Taking to its Twitter account, ITR made a post with an interesting caption. Wrestling fans were asked to choose the better heel champion between MJF and Roman Reigns. And as fascinating as the question sounds, the fan answers were even more intriguing.

MJF gets hailed for his mic work but the majority chose Roman Reigns over him

A fan replied to the post by picking AEW World Champion MJF with a detailed explanation. She believes The Two Year Vet is just 26 but got over organically. Other the other hand, she felt Roman Reigns was forcefully fed and fans were brainwashed to put him over.

In fact, some MJF fans didn’t even hesitate to choose him over Roman Reigns.

However, the majority of those who picked Roman Reigns tried to explain why he is better than MJF. Some feel The Two Year Vet’s reigns have just begun while the WWE megastar is at his peak.

Overall, the common vote on the Tweet was that The Tribal Chief is a better heel champion than the Generational Talent.

Memers also tagged along but still, Reigns was leading the comment section by a big margin.

The AEW World Champion was in all praises for The Tribal Chief in one of his past interviews

Last year in November, MJF made an appearance on the Pardon My Take podcast. There, the AEW champion was asked about his opinions on the top champion in wrestling today, Roman Reigns.

Although MJF believed he is the face of AEW but didn’t take away anything from Roman Reigns. Friedman admitted that Reigns is indeed the face of the WWE company. Moreover, he went on to state that The Head of the Table is doing tremendous work in a tremendous wrestling show.

Despite all the comparisons, one can say both are best in their own way. But if he uses his championship as a bargaining chip in 2024, he could end up signing with WWE. And if that turns out to be true, seeing both men face to face will be a dream come true for many wrestling fans. Though looking at WWE’s current backstage issues, nobody knows what will the company look like by the end of this year.
