Bobby Lashley’s ongoing second run with the company has seen him reach heights that he never did in his previous run in WWE in 2005. Since his return in 2018, Lashley has left nothing but destruction in his path. Although his most recent match with Brock Lesnar at Crown Jewels saw his defeat, Lashley made a statement by attacking Brock Lesnar following the match and leaving him defenseless in the ring favoring his knee. To everybody’s surprise, Lashley made an example out of The Beast Incarnate after the bell.

Over the years, the Dominator’s dominance has also extended to combat sports. Lashley competed in the world of MMA after his first exit from WWE and built an impressive record of 10-2.

Aside from also being a successful mixed martial artist, Lashley is a four-time TNA World Champion, two-time WWE Champion, and two-time ECW Champion.

The 46-year-old made his presence felt as a top heel superstar after he joined forces with MVP and formed The Hurt Business comprising Cedric Alexander and Shelton Benjamin.

Bobby Lashley wishes to reunite The Hurt Business

Managed by MVP, The Hurt Business was formed in 2020. During the reign of this villainous stable, Bobby Lashley won the United States Championship and the WWE Championship. Along with Lashley, Shelton Benjamin and Cedric Alexander also captured the WWE Raw Tag Team Titles.

WWE was taken by storm when the faction was formed and the entire locker room was put on notice. Some fans even compared the stable with The Nation of Domination from the mid-90s.

Sadly, the faction was split up after Lashley turned babyface. All the members of the THB parted ways and headed into having a singles career. During an interview with WMBD News, Bobby Lashley was asked if he had any interest in reuniting with his former teammates now that he has turned heel. Unsurprisingly, Lashley expressed his desire to reconnect with The Hurt Business.

“I hear it all the time. And it was a cool, it was a very cool time of wrestling. And we’re fighting for it. We’re fighting for it, trust me. Hopefully, sometime you’ll see it back together.”

According to reports, Lashley never intended for the group to split up but it was forced by WWE as Lashley was doing well without their influence in a singles career.

Is Bobby Lashley really fired from WWE following his actions on Raw?

Earlier this week, Bobby Lashley locked horns with Seth Rollins in a No. 1 contender’s match for the US Championship. The winner would go on to face Austin Theory for the Championship title.

During their see-saw battle in the ring, Lashley put the Hurt Lock on Rollins before he was pushed back to the corner of the ring. Referee Chad Patton moved out of harm’s way and in the process, injured his ankle. While the official was out of the ring, Lashley hit a spear and covered Rollins but the official failed to make it back in time.

An irate Lashley attempted a second spear but Rollins countered into a pedigree and pinned Lashley for the win. Following the match, Lashley attacked another official in the ring. WWE’s director of live events Adam Pearce made a beeline for the ring and confronted Lashley only to be pushed by him.

Lashley forced Pearce’s hand and got fired on the spot. Of course, firing Lashley was by design and this may lead to a storyline and a possible match between the former WWE Champion and Adam Pearce.
