BREAKING: Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni and Ravi Shastri want IPL 2018 to end quickly
Over the past few days, Virat Kohli has been vehemently opposing the scheduling put in place by BCCI, especially before the all important tour of South Africa.
The Sri Lankan tour was squeezed in by the BCCI at the very last moment, and while it would fetch good enough revenue for the BCCI, Virat Kohli feels that such cramped up scheduling leads to burnout, something that the BCCI needs to take into account big time.
But more than the over exertion, Virat wanted to point out that before going for a challenging overseas tour, India needs to undergo a proper, month-long camp, in order to acclimatize themselves with the conditions that will be on offer abroad.
With a packed overseas scheduled lined up for next year, Virat Kohli wants the IPL to end quickly, so that the Indian players can get a camp like atmosphere before flying abroad.
The Indian team will fly off to England after the IPL for a tour that will consist of 3 ODI’s, 3 T20’s and 5 Test matches. And according to multiple reports, it seems like Virat Kohli, MS Dhoni and Ravi Shastri have asked the CoA to schedule the IPL in a way that it allows the Indian team to train for at least 2 weeks before flying off to England.
India will take on Sri Lanka in the 3rd Test of the series on the 2nd of December in Delhi and would be hoping that they can wrap up the series in style.
