“LeBron James turns out to be Aquaman!”: When Gabrielle Union talked about the Lakers superstar saving a man from drowning
Gabrielle Union called LeBron James ‘Aquaman’ after the 4x champ leaped into the ocean to save a man from drowning.
LeBron James is often considered to be a superhero type player when on NBA hardwood: going on one-man fastbreaks, leaping from the foul line to dunk the rock, and shooting 18-foot fadeaways like he were the second coming of Kobe Bryant. It’s safe to say that James does things on the court that not many have been able to replicate.
In the 18 years that he’s been in the league, LeBron James, like any other veteran, has made several friends along the way. Perhaps his closest, at least what is perceived through the eyes of the media, is Dwyane Wade. Both the James’ and the Wades have been spotted vacationing together on several occasions, along with Savannah James and Gabrielle Union, of course.
The two families have spent so much time together than Gabrielle Union was asked to talk about LeBron James and Savannah during a Vogue interview in fall of 2017.
LeBron James leapt into the ocean to save a man from drowning according to Gabrielle Union.
Vogue did a feature on LeBron and Savannah James in August of 2017 and in that, Gabrielle Union talked about the time the former jumped into the ocean without any hesitation to save a man from drowning.
While snorkeling in the Bahamas together, a friend of theirs apparently fell off the boat. According to Gabrielle Union, LeBron James jumped off the boat in order to save their friend from drowning. “LeBron, it turns out, is Aquaman! He literally brings our friend back like something out of an episode of Baywatch.”
There is no video evidence to prove this but it isn’t hard to believe that James was first on the scene in a situation like this.
