WATCH : AB de Villiers wishes Virat Kohli a happy married life
The IPL is a brilliant platform that allows some of the best players in the world to compete against each other.
Not only do they compete against each other but some of them even get the chance to play side by side for various franchises.
One of the best examples of such a duo is that of Virat Kohli and AB de Villiers. These two modern greats have lit up the Chinnaswamy stadium on many occasions over the years.
Both Kohli and AB have developed a friendship over the past few years as they pummeled opposition bowlers in front of their adoring RCB fans.
While there is no doubt that there exists an underlying sense of competition between the two, Kohli and AB have maintained a genuine friendship that stems from mutual respect for each other.

Kohli has often mentioned how much he loves AB and never misses an opportunity to praise the legendary South African batsman.
AB on the other hand has often called Virat as one of the best batsman that he has ever seen and often puts the Indian ahead of him in terms of batsman ship.
The South African is currently preparing for the much anticipated series against the Indian team next month.
It will be a huge test for Virat and his men as the Indian team will be looking to win their first ever series on South African shores.
But before that, Kohli will go for his honeymoon with his new bride. Kohli and Anushka got married in an intimate ceremony in Milan as the Indian skipper started a new chapter in his life.
AB got a chance to send his heartiest wishes to his friend as he embarks and wished him the very best of luck in the future.
