Predicted Lineups for the 3rd ODI between India and Sri Lanka
Sri Lanka started the ODI series on a high, winning the 1st ODI in emphatic fashion, as Suranga Lakmal ran through the Indian top order, making the ball talk big time in Dharamshala.
But India came back in the second ODI strongly, thanks to a double hundred from Rohit Sharma, who absolutely blew away the Lankan attack in conditions that offered nothing for the fast bowlers.
Now that the equation reads 1-1. Both the teams will play for the trophy at the beautiful VDCA Stadium, Visakhapatnam on December 17 (Sunday).
India would be hoping that their ODI unit can end the home season on a high, before catching that flight to South Africa.
Can Sri Lanka climb to a new high with a relatively inexperienced lineup? Or will Rohit Sharma fulfill the expectations of the fans in Virat Kohli’s absence?
India would be looking to play with a similar side in the last game, but would be hoping that India can have a strong performance from their number 4 tomorrow, as that spot is yet to be cemented by any single player.
Apart from that, Kuldeep Yadav could make a comeback to the team at the expense of Washington Sundar, who did not really impress in the first game.
Predicted lineups:
India:
Rohit Sharma (c), Shikhar Dhawan, Shreyas Iyer, Dinesh Karthik, Manish Pandey, MS Dhoni (wk), Hardik Pandya, Bhuvneshwar Kumar, Kuldeep Yadav, Jasprit Bumrah, Yuzvendra Chahal.
