NBA Hall of Famer Charles Barkley had once got into a scuffle with a guest at a bar, resulting in The Chuckster spending five hours in jail before being released on a $6K bond.

During a visit to an Orlando bar in 1997, Barkley got into an altercation with a fan for throwing a drink at him, resulting in the Alabama native throwing the man through a glass window.

Charles Barkley showed no remorse for his actions despite being arrested.

As seen on Inside the NBA, it doesn’t take much for The Chuckster to flare up. Whether it’s Skip Bayless or co-panelist Shaq, Barkley is as outspoken as it gets. Now imagine him during his heydays in the NBA.

The former Suns forward was arrested 4-6 times for his altercations with fans, something Barkley regrets today. However, nothing tops Chuck’s assault on a man who threw a drink at him in an Orlando bar.

According to witnesses at the bar, Barkley picked up the man, who was half his size and flung him into a glass window. When police arrived at the scene, Chuck showed no regrets for the man bleeding on the ground.

”For all I care, you can lay there and die,” said the Suns legend.

Barkley was arrested for his actions and produced in court. During the trial, Barkley was asked if he had any regrets for his actions, to which he replied the following.

“Yeah, I regret we were on the first floor.”

“He lifted that kid and flung him like he was a toy and threw him into the window. He broke the whole glass.”

Barkley was jailed for five hours before being released on a $6K bond.
