BREAKING: Match fixing allegations levelled against Mohammad Shami
Mohammad Shami’s wife has now levelled match fixing allegations against her husband, after already having accused the Indian fast bowler of cheating and physical abuse.
In a recent interview with ABP news, Shami’s wife said that “if he can cheat me, he can cheat the nation too”.
Jahan has already lodged a complaint against Shami at the Lal Bazar police station in Kolkata.
Shami’s wife has claimed that Shami used to accept money from a Pakistani girl called Alisbah at a Dubai hotel. The money was accepted by Shami on severe insistence from ‘some Mohammad bhai’ in England.
Shami’s wife was hinting towards her husband being involved in match fixing, as he had been accepting this money despite all of BCCI’s cheques that he received.
Shami has already made a public statement denying all allegations made against him, saying that it is a plpy to destroy his international career.

While the match fixing allegations seem baseless as Shami’s wife has no real proof related to it, allegations based on physical abuse could land Shami in huge trouble as Jahan says that she has proper evidence regarding all of Shami’s actions.
“I’m not going to divorce him till my last breath. I’ve all evidence against him and will soon drag him to court,” she said.

Shami hasn’t been provided with a BCCI contract on disciplinary grounds, as the BCCI wants Shami to first get all the allegations against him cleared, before being eligible for the new contract.
Hopefully the truth prevails in this case, but BCCI might have to relook at their policies of mixing the personal and professional lives of players.
