David Willey has not yet arrived for CSK

IPL 2018 is off to a great start, as we have already seen several nail biting finishes in the opening few matches of this tournament.

CSK have been involved in two themselves, as they won both their matches in the last over. Unfortunately for CSK fans, their side’s win over KKR will be the only match that they will get to witness in Chennai this year, as all of CSK’s matches have been shifted to Pune.

Politics has once again played spoil sport, as the Cauvery Water dispute has agitated the protesters and have threatened to release snakes in the stadium. The IPL could not risk something like this from ever happening, which is why all the matches will not be held in Pune.

CSK are also facing a few injuries, as both Kedar Jadhav and Suresh Raina will miss the next few matches. While Jadhav is out for the tournament, Raina is expected to come back after a couple of weeks.

Jadhav’s replacement, David Willey will also miss the next match, as his VISA formalities will still take some time to get completed.

It is a shame that CSK will not play at the Chepauk again this year, as their last match was a brilliant game to watch.

Sam Billings was brilliant, as he scored a rapid fire fifty to give CSK the initiative, which was then finished off by Bravo and Jadeja.

Billings will be of even more importance in the next few matches, as CSK wait for reinforcements to arrive!
