Red Bull issue statement regarding Verstappen-Ricciardo crash

The Verstappen-Ricciardo crash has been the talk of the weekend as the two Red Bull drivers couldn’t keep their hands of each other all through the race and ultimately Ricciardo ended up slamming his car into the rear of Verstappen’s.

The duo refused to put the blame on each other and hoped that Red Bull wouldn’t reprimand them in a big way.

Red Bull have revealed that there wouldn’t be any team orders for either driver but the duo have been urged to keep things clean.

“There are no team orders here, but you’ve got to keep it clean,” the Red Bull statement read.

“No blame on either driver, both race hard and want to win.”

“An Azerbaijan Grand Prix to forget for us today but both drivers’ have apologised and we all move on to Spain.” they added.

Both Verstappen and Ricciardo were flustered with what transpired on the race track today. However, it was good to see that while the race track collision was ugly, nothing that followed even tilted towards ‘ugliness’.

The drivers maintained their calm and the Red Bull officials too kept their head about themselves and did not take any rash decisions in the heat of the moment.

Hopefully the duo sort things out and help Red Bull get some points on the table in Spain.
