Ice Cube’s Son O’Shea Jackson Unhappy Overs Reports of the Rock Returning at Royal Rumble to Set Up WrestleMania Encounter With Roman Reigns
Ever since Roman Reigns formed The Bloodline, fans want to see him face his cousin The Rock. In fact, the rumors of this dream match have been surfacing for more than a year now. Dave Meltzer, in the recent Wrestling Observer Newsletter, discussed Royal Rumble 2023 and claimed WWE is thinking to bring The Rock at number 30. Not just that, The Great One is also rumored to win the match and face Reigns at the next WrestleMania. While many fans are happy to hear about The Rock making a surprise return, Ice Cube’s son O’Shea Jackson isn’t among them.
Recently, the legendary rapper’s son took to his Twitter account and expressed his thoughts on the matter. He expressed how he isn’t happy about how such kinds of surprises no more amaze him.
O’Shea Jackson misses going on the internet and not finding any surprises
It appears O’Shea Jackson has not taken the news of The Rock returning at Royal Rumble very well. In fact, the 32-year-old is totally against the idea of things getting spoiled beforehand. Using his social media as a platform, Jackson retweeted a post by B/R Wrestling and stated he misses surprises.
The 32-year-old further added that he misses opening the internet and not finding things before they happen. Jackson also recalled his young days when he felt a real-life shock after seeing surprises directly on the TV. He wrote:
“Ya know. I miss surprises. I miss not being able to go on the internet to find out everything before it happens. That real-life shock that you felt as a kid…”
Just like many other fans, WWE superstar Ricochet also agreed with Ice Cube’s son as he commented on the tweet.

Well, O’Shea Jackson is not wrong as nine out of ten times big returns get disclosed on social media even before they happen. One of the recent examples is from WrestleMania 38 when almost everyone knew Cody Rhodes would be making his return.
Is The Rock really returning at no. 30 and winning the Royal Rumble next month?
In his report, Dave Meltzer claimed that the WWE is considering The Rock to win the Royal Rumble. He did add, however, that he wasn’t completely sure. He stated that all of this is just a discussion and as of now, The Rock making an appearance is nothing more than a rumor.
Meltzer further noted only a few people will know the whole thing. As per his sources, nothing has been official by WWE.
Nevertheless, during an interview earlier this year, The Rock claimed he is the Head of the Table. Both men have given their opinions about facing each other on several occasions. Though neither one has revealed anything that could confirm or deny the rumors.
Still, considering the conjectures of recent weeks, something is certainly going on within WWE.
