“I’d be all for it”- Kenny Omega gives his nod to partnership between AEW and WWE
AEW star and Executive Vice President Kenny Omega gives his nod to the possibility of a partnership between AEW and WWE if the opportunity ever arrives in the future.
The creation and rise of AEW has come as a boon to wrestling fans who have long been at the mercy of WWE for well-produced wrestling on television. Some fans have even shifted their allegiance to Tony Khan’s promotion. There are some however, who indulge in their own fantasy booking featuring stars from both companies.

In what should come as a pleasant news to fans who enjoy the product both shows deliver, AEW’s Kenny Omega has revealed that he is not averse to a working relationship with Vince McMahon and Co, He believes this may even help bring in new fans or at the very least make the existing fans happier.
Kenny Omega gives his nod to partnership between AEW and WWE
“If, for some reason, WWE came knocking on our door and said, ‘hey, we would love to do a talent switch or trade-off, or work together on something, I’d be all for it,'” Omega, said on The Wrestling Observer Radio. “Whatever benefits the wrestling fan must always come first. When you start thinking about fantasy scenarios, if wrestlers crossed over like that, it gets really exciting.”.
“I think this is the kind of shot in the arm that wrestling needs,” he added. “Will we succeed in attracting more viewers than we already have at the table? We would never know until we tried. And even if we are unable to create new fans, it’s still a win-win because you’re only to going make the current fan happier.”
“I am always thinking about the fan first. “I don’t think you’re gonna drive any fans away by having a friendly atmosphere and working together,” he concluded.
This is an exciting statement from fans who would love to see this come to life. Considering Vince McMahon’s detestation at acknowledging wrestling outside of his own promotion, a partnership seems extremely unlikely. At least however, the doors aren’t closed on both ends, and that is better than nothing for the fans who have been taught over the years that you can never say never in this business.
