"I Don't Think Anyone Loves Playing Basketball More Than Me": Kawhi Leonard Addresses Game-Winner Amid Twitter Going Into Tizzy

It was an anticipating night for the Clippers fans, with the superstar duo of Kawhi Leonard and Paul George returning to the lineup, who had been missing games due to recurrent injuries. While for The Klaw, his nagging ACL injury continued to be bothersome, PG13 suffered a hamstring injury.

Kawhi, who missed the entire 2021-22 season, has only played six games in the current NBA calendar. On the other hand, George had missed the last seven consecutive games. Touted to be a top contender in the west, the Clips face a crucial issue in the availability of its superstar players.

Marking his comeback season, Kawhi would start for the Clippers, notching 16-points, 6-rebounds, and 2-assists, which included a game-winner. The two-time Finals MVP drilled an 18-foot jumper with 1.4 seconds remaining in regulation.

In his 4th season with the Clippers, we are yet to see Kawhi play his best version as injuries continue to plague him. Nevertheless, the former DPOY had everyone impressed with his game-winning shot.

Having joined the Clippers in 2019, Kawhi has played a mere 115 games out of the 251 games conducted so far.
