Heat vs Renegades head to head: Melbourne Renegades vs Brisbane Heat head to head records in BBL history

The third match of the ongoing 12th season of the Big Bash League will be played between Brisbane Heat and Melbourne Renegades in Cairns in less than an hour from now.

Having hosted three Australia-New Zealand ODIs earlier this year, Cazaly’s Stadium will be hosting its first-ever BBL match tonight. Also the first match of the season for both Heat and Renegades, it is needless to say that each one of them would be looking to start on a winning note.

Having finished at the bottom two positions respectively last season, Brisbane and Melbourne would want to start afresh in BBL 12. Renegades, in particular, have been finishing at the bottom of the points table for three seasons in a row and would want to brush aside the tag of underachievers.

Better team out of these two when it comes to head-to-head record against each other, Renegades would be banking on their past record. That being said, Heat have won three out of their last five matches against this opposition. Their last match against each other, however, was won by Melbourne after they chased down a 129-run target with five wickets and as many overs remaining in the match.
