While Smoking A $20 Cigar, Dennis Rodman Adamantly Refuses to Indulge in Marijuana
Dennis Rodman has lived a life that many would envy given just how much money he made throughout his NBA career and the number of women he’s been with over the decades. Others would look at what Rodman has gone through in terms of relationships and his childhood and would want nothing to do with a life like that.
Rodman himself once admitted on Oprah’s show that he put a gun to his head on that fateful night in his car because he wanted to kill the ‘fake him’. He wanted to live life the way he envisioned his life to be and so he did.
Along the way, he became quite dependent on alcohol for his happiness and would check himself into rehab a couple times. He has said during interviews before that he did successfully become sober for an extended period of time but reverted back to being an alcoholic because being sober was boring to him.

Dennis Rodman reveals the price of his cigar and talks about marijuana
Dennis Rodman went on the ‘No Jumper’ podcast 4 years ago and was asked by the host about his relationship with marijuana and cannabis. To his surprise, ‘The Worm’ revealed that he does not indulge in the ‘devil’s lettuce’ and instead prefers to smoke cigars.
The particular one he was smoking at the beginning of the podcast was apparently for $20, according to Rodman. In previous interviews he’s stated that there one cigar that he simply cannot live without and that’s Montecristo Cigars. He’s been smoking those for close to 3 decades now.
Adam22 would let it be known that he actually doesn’t smoke cigars, claiming they make him sick every time he tries to. Though he did say that the $20 Rodman used on that cigar would go into putting $20 worth of marijuana in a single joint.
Dennis Rodman received cigars from Kim Jong-Un
Rodman has built up quite the relationship with Kim Jong-Un and North Korea in general. He first went there with a group of basketball players in the early 2010s for an exhibition game and would subsequently forge a solid friendship with the dictator himself.
So much so that Kim even gifted him a box of cigars during a trip of his. [As a] matter of fact, you can even go to North Korea and get em! Because he [Kim Jong-Un] gave me 7 boxes one day and I brought them back. And they were very delicious, very moist and very pure.”
