“This The Last MF to Say It!”: When LeBron James Took Offense Over Grizzlies’ Trash Talk and Dunked Over DPOY Candidate Jaren Jackson Jr.

The Los Angeles Lakers are not having a good season. Despite LeBron James putting up the best numbers of his Lakers career, the Purple and Gold can’t seem to capitalize on the same. The 38-year-old is regularly outscoring the rest of the Lakers starters, which is not a good sign for a team that aspires to get wins.

Granted that LeBron is in consideration for one of the greatest players of all time, but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t need any help. Due to the way the Lakers have been playing, it seems like teams in the NBA and especially the younger teams, they don’t seem to respect greatness.

A good example of the same is early in 2022 when the Los Angeles Lakers were facing the Memphis Grizzlies. Here is what happened.

LeBron James dunked over Jaren Jackson Jr.

During a regular season matchup between the Los Angeles Lakers and the Memphis Grizzlies, the Grizzlies were beating the Lakers, and the younger guys thought that makes it okay for them to talk sh*t to a legend.

The Grizzlies were on a 15-4 run and one of the guys decided to talk trash to LBJ. LBJ didn’t appreciate it, and said,

“This y’all’s last time, this y’all’s last f***ing time. This y’all last time disrespecting me. Naw he ain’t hooping. He talking sh*t. This the last MF time I say it. You start making a couple shots, you start talking sh*t. Naw f*ck that, I don’t play that sh*t.”

The King then proceeded to run coast to coast the very next possession and slam the ball over DPOY candidate Jaren Jackson Jr.

That hopefully was the last time these youngin’ talked trash to the King. We’ll have to see if they try and repeat history tonight as the Lakers come to town.

LeBron led a historical comeback over Klay Thompson’s comment

In 2016, the Golden State Warriors made NBA history. They won 73 regular season games, breaking the ’96 Bulls’ 72 game record. After that, they went up 3-1 in the NBA Finals, and were one step away from the finish line. Then, Klay Thompson made an error.

He claimed that LBJ had his feelings hurt.

When asked about the same, Bron just smirked.

Three games later, it was Bron lifting the 2016 Championship and the Warriors were shocked in their own home. It’s safe to say, don’t mess with the King unless you can back it up.
