Brian Callahan, Dan Quinn or…? Who Will be Indianapolis Colts’ New Head Coach?
At the halfway season mark, the Indianapolis Colts decided to fire their head coach Frank Reich and hired an ex NFL player with no coaching experience as their interim head coach. In came Jeff Saturday, a Pro Bowl center for the Colts and a high school football coach.
Saturday won his first NFL game as a coach and the scrutiny for hiring a coach with no experience suddenly subsided. However, after losing his next 7 games to end the season, the noise to find an actual head coach is louder than ever for the Colts.

Even then, there is no guarantee that Jim Irsay and the Colts will move on from Saturday. Irsay has voiced his support for Jeff Saturday and is proceeding with the ex player as any other head coaching candidate they are looking into.
As the NFL playoffs proceed, simultaneously, many other teams are trying to find their head coach for the upcoming season. Even though many of these candidates are still alive in the playoffs, they are moving forward with interviews in hopes to become a head coach.
How is the Colts head coach hiring process moving along?
Today, Jim Irsay shared an update with the NFL world and its fans that the Colts are moving swiftly in their process of finding a new head coach. He shared the below information.

Rich Bisaccia was most notably the interim head coach for the Las Vegas Raiders last season after the firing of Jon Gruden. He was then turned down for the head coach position in favor of Josh McDaniels, a decision that has been scrutinized.
Brian Callahan is currently the offensive coordinator for the Cincinnati Bengals. Callahan has created an efficient offense with Joe Burrow and Jamarr Chase leading the way. However, the Colts do not have a quarterback to build around just yet.
Finally, Dan Quinn is the defensive coordinator for the Dallas Cowboys. Quinn turned down head coach opportunities last offseason but seems to be in the hunt now. Quinn was last the head coach of the Atlanta Falcons.
