The Divisional playoffs are around the corner and are here to entertain. The NFC #1 seed, Philadelphia Eagles will finally be in post-season action as they prepare to host the Giants. An NFC East matchup in the playoffs will set up one of the most entertaining games of the season so far. With a step closer to the Vince Lombardi trophy, being on the line, both teams will look to showcase their best outing of the season during this game. Just like most fans, former Giants quarterback, Eli Manning also eagerly awaits this contest.

The Giants have had an impressive record, but nothing close to the Eagles. At 14-3, the Eagles have claimed the throne to be top contenders for this year’s Superbowl championship. However, with an impressive showing against the Vikings, it would be foolish to write off the Giants so easily.

As the two teams will get after it in Philadelphia, a lot of former athletes and popular fans will come out to support their teams in numbers. Of these, former Giants quarterback and future Hall of Famer, Eli Manning will also be in attendance. Eli Manning had promised to never watch another game in Philadelphia, given his poor experience with the birds’ fans. However, given the occasion and the magnitude of it, Manning is here to break his promise.

Eli Manning remembers his tough days in Philadelphia on the Manning Cast

On a recent episode of the Manning cast, Eli Manning got candid in a conversation with his brother, Peyton Manning. The two brothers discussed Eli’s plans for the games and this had them going down memory lane in a way. Eli Manning had earlier mentioned the hostility of the Eagles fans by displaying the gestures they made to him during his playing days, which was giving him double middle fingers.

Eli Manning mentioned how he wanted to keep his plans for this game on the down low. “I said when I retired that I would never go back to a football game in Philly, but I think I have to break my promise. I can’t wait to see the amount of double Birds I get,” said the former Giants’ QB. The double birds, being the middle fingers.

The Eagles have already done the double over the Giants this season. With quarterback Jalen Hurts back in the mix, they will look to replicate their result from Gameweek 18. However, with the momentum behind the Giants, Daniel Jones and Saquon Barkley could combine for some fireworks too.
