“Kevin Durant is Having One of the Greatest Seasons I’ve Ever Seen”: Kyle Kuzma is Mightily Impressed by The Slim Reaper’s Efficiency
Like a couple of other seasons in his 16-year career, 2022-23 has not been kind to Kevin Durant, health-wise. The 6ft 10’ forward struggled throughout the season, first with an MCL sprain that kept him out of action for close to 2 months, and then his ankle kept him out for almost 3 weeks recently.
The first one that came on the 9th of January, playing against the Miami Heat, probably led to Kyrie Irving’s departure from Brooklyn in February. That led to KD’s move to the Suns.
But amidst everything that has happened in the past 4 months or so, one thing did not take a toll whatsoever — Durant’s brilliance on the court. Fans would obviously be impressed by what they are seeing, but even the players, that too from opposition teams, cannot keep themselves from praising greatness.
Kyle Kuzma praises the one-of-a-kind season from Kevin Durant
The Slim Reaper-led team, be it the Suns or the Nets has won 24 of its last 27 games dating back to December. Currently leading the Phoenix team to an 8-0 run when he has taken the court, he is averaging 29.1 points, 6.6 rebounds, 5 assists, and 1.4 blocks per game.
That’s mightily impressive for someone who has gone through a lot this season. But when you look at the efficiency at which he has scored close to 30 points per game in the 47 games he has played, you’d be shell-shocked.
The man has been shooting the ball at an incredible efficiency of 55% from the field, 40% from the 3-point line, and 90% from the free-throw line. That’s the best in the league for anybody who is averaging 10 points or more this season.
Even the Wizards forward, Kyle Kuzma, could not help himself from praising the greatness.
“KD [Kevin Durant] is having one of the greatest seasons I’ve ever seen,” Kuzma Tweeted recently.
Kd is having one of the greatest seasons I’ve ever seen 💐💐💐 https://t.co/MklK2fzah0
