“She Could KO Floyd Mayweather”: Brother of Andrew Tate Ropes In Ronda Rousey to Disparage Caitlin Clark for This Reason
The debate of whether women can compete with men in sports has been an ongoing topic for years. In recent years, we’ve seen several female athletes rise to the top of their respective sports, including Serena Williams in tennis, Megan Rapinoe in soccer, and Ronda Rousey in MMA. However, the question of whether they could compete with men in their respective sports has always been a point of contention. Recently, Caitlin Clark, a female basketball player who has been making waves in the sports world, has been added to this discussion.
However, former UFC title challenger Jake Shields and Tristan Tate, brother of controversial social media star Andrew Tate, seem unimpressed by their potential.
What did Tristan Tate, brother of Andrew Tate, say about Ronda Rousey?
Recently, there was a debate on social media, where many believed that the Iowa Hawkeyes player Caitlin Clark has the potential to compete against men in the NBA. However, former UFC fighter, Jake Shields dismissed the thought by drawing parallels with ex-UFC champion Ronda Rousey.
Or that she could “KO” Mayweather in a boxing match …

“Remember they said Ronda Could compete in the men’s division of the UFC?” Shields wrote. Following that, Tristan Tate also chimed in with his thought on the idea. And in the process disparaged Rousey and Clark. He wrote, “Or that she could “KO” Mayweather in a boxing match …”
Before her downfall in 2015, Rousey was one of the most dominant female fighters in the promotion. In fact, she was the first female champion in the promotion.
All of her wins came via finishes and her ferocious style of fighting made many believe that she could compete even against male fighters. Not only that, UFC president Dana White even asserted that Ronda could knockout boxing legend Floyd Mayweather in a slugfest. Tristan Tate today used the same line to mock the idea.
Rousey’s only two UFC losses
Rousey before her debut in UFC was a Strikeforce champion. She was later crowned with the bantamweight title after her entry into the UFC. ‘Rowdy’ defended her crown a stunning six times in her career.
However, in 2015, Rousey lost her title to the boxing prodigy Holly Holm. Despite being a fan favorite, ‘Rowdy’ was stopped in the second round with a vicious kick by ‘The Preacher’s Daughter.’
Rousey faced her second defeat in the following year against Amanda Nunes. The Brazilian mixed martial artist knocker her out in the very first round of their fight at UFC 207.
Following her two devastating losses and difference with the company, Rousey departed from the UFC. However, she has surely left a mark on the female fighting division with her dominant stint.
What are your thoughts on Rousey’s UFC career? What do you guys think about Tate’s tweet?
