Virat Kohli Flying Kiss Video: RCB Captain Blows Kiss to Wife Anushka Sharma at Chinnaswamy Stadium

Romance was at the helm during Indian Premier League 2023 Match 32 as Royal Challengers Bangalore stand-in captain Virat Kohli didn’t shy away from blowing a kiss to wife and actor-producer Anushka Sharma at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium.

Sharma, who is ardent supporter of her husband’s professional career, has been spotted at this venue regularly during most of RCB’s home matches this season. Also present when the hosts were fielding against Rajasthan Royals today, Sharma was in line for an unexpected gift in the form of a flying kiss from Kohli.

It all happened on the fourth delivery of the 14th over when Kohli grabbed his 101st IPL catch (third-highest in the history of the tournament). Fielding at long-on, Kohli didn’t make any mistake whilst completing a straightforward catching opportunity.

What followed was the 34-year old player turning back to register a heartwarming gesture towards Sharma. In return, she was seen blushing in the stands.

In what was Kohli’s second catch of the day, readers must note that it put an end to RR opening batter Yashasvi Jaiswal‘s (47) innings to hand Impact Player Harshal Patel (3/32) his first wicket of the match.

Virat Kohli Registers 10th Duck in IPL History

It was on the first ball of the match that Kohli was dismissed for a golden duck. Facing Royals fast bowler Trent Boult (2/41), Kohli was plumb in front to be given out by the on-field umpire. It is worth a mention that the right-hand batter didn’t even consider challenging the umpire’s decision.

Kohli, who was out for a duck for the 10th time in the IPL, eventually managed to lead Royal Challengers to their second consecutive victory under him in the ongoing 16th season of the IPL. Although the match turned out to be a close shave towards the end, Bangalore secured a 7-run victory to ensure that their losses don’t outnumber the wins at the halfway mark of the competition.
