Marcus Stoinis got hit on face by Riley Meredith's vicious delivery in BBL match

Marcus Stoinis got a hard hit on the face by Riley Meredith’s fast delivery in the BBL match, the player seemed fine and immediately got up.

Hobart Hurricanes faced Melbourne starts in a game full of pauses but amidst all of this Marcus Stoinis almost became a victim to a vicious bouncer but fortunately was safe as his protecting gears zeroes the harm.

In the 4th over of the game, Riley Meredith delivered his fourth ball of the over to Stoinis, a fast delivery caught a huge bounce and directly hit the Australian batsman’s helmet with blistering speed.

Stoinis was brought to the floor with the impact. In response, the explosive batsman took a pause but soon got up and told the officials he was fine.

On the other hand, all the players near to him including Meredith came to his rescue and enquired about his condition. Fortunately, Stoinis reported to be fine and continued to be on the pitch.

Meanwhile, match officials followed their protocol and made sure that the batsman on the pitch did not have any possibility of concussion due to the impact, as the ball literally smacked onto Stoinis’ head.

With this, the match continued and Meredith resumed with his over. It was clear that the Australian bowler did not intend to hurt his compatriot and was one off bouncer which came out to be dangerous.

Although Stoinis continued with his innings, shortly he lost his wicket in the first ball of next over of Meredith. It was a short ball, which Stoinis tried to hit hard but it didn’t receive enough impact and it was caught by David Miller
