Is Stephen Curry Playing Tonight vs Lakers? Warriors Release 6ft 2″ Star’s Availability Report Before Game 1 Against LeBron James and Co.
The Golden State Warriors made it out of the first round in a grand fashion. The way they dealt with the Kings was proof that this squad needs only one player to go off. Stephen Curry dropped 50 points on the unsuspecting Kings to show who is the reigning Finals MVP. He proved that the Warriors are made from championship cloth. However, their next opponents are not a young team like Sacramento. The Lakers, with their 17 championships, have a legacy far more dominant than the Warriors. Steve Kerr’s squad will need every weapon available to them. And fortunately, Curry will remain active in game 1 of the conference semifinals.
Now, Tuesday’s game will officially mark the start of the second series. The Lakers are not easy opponents. With LeBron James and Anthony Davis leading them, the Warriors will likely have a tougher time than they did in round 1.
That being said. Kerr should be excited that none of his assets suffered any physical injuries in the series against the Kings. All of them other than Andre Iguodala, Ryan Rollins, and Patrick Baldwin Jr. are active and ready to go.
Stephen Curry available for Game 1 against the Lakers
Stephen Curry has not been named in the NBA’s injury report. Moreover, no reports recently have pointed out to him being injured or unfit in any way. This is great news for the Dubs.
After all, Stephen Curry is definitely one of the top offensive weapons in the history of the game. He is capable of single-handedly turning the game in the Warriors’ favor.
Moreover, Curry’s accuracy from the perimeter will be a great counter to the Lakers’ suffocating defense. It will be much harder for GSW to attack the paint, especially if Anthony Davis is at his best.
However, with Curry on the floor, he would undoubtedly stretch the defense and open up driving lanes for his team. This is going to be a game between an exceptional paint defense and incredible perimeter scoring. No wonder fans are hyped for this series.

Warriors expected lineup against LeBron James and Co.
GSW prefers to play small ball as they have shown time and again. Their smaller size as a team can be seen as a disadvantage but Kerr has really turned it into a weapon. The only true starting big man in the Warriors is Kevon Looney. He will be crucial on the offensive and defensive board to match up to the Lakers’ size.
So, exactly like the previous series, the Warriors’ frontcourt will feature Kevon Looney, Andrew Wiggins, and Draymond Green. With Poole likely not in the starting lineup, we think Klay Thompson and Stephen Curry will take on the backcourt duties.
