Speaking on this, the 38-year-old once said, “I’d be lying if I said that I’ve never thought of ending my career elsewhere.” Following this, the Stevenage-born driver revealed that he thought and watched Ferrari drivers on the screen and on track and wondered how he’d look in a red suit.
The Formula 1 world is hot on Hamilton‘s move to Ferrari, away from Mercedes. After back-to-back tough years at Brackley, multiple reports suggest that the seven-time world champion might opt for a switch to Maranello.
Mercedes wouldn’t stop Hamilton if Ferrari comes calling
Toto Wolff and Brackley aren’t likely to stop the British driver if Ferrari arrives with a mega offer. As per expert Peter Windsor, the Mercedes boss will not come in between if the Briton wants to jump ship.
Speaking about this on his own YouTube channel, Windsor stated that Wolff would not stop Hamilton after he failed to deliver the championship-worthy car to the multiple world champion.

Admittedly, Ferrari SF-23 is believed to be a better challenger at the moment than W14. Moreover, if Charles Leclerc switches to Mercedes, according to the rumors, it can certainly turn out to be a swap deal between the two teams and Leclerc and Hamilton.
Hamilton provided new insight into his Mercedes’s future
With his latest revelation, the Silver Arrows maestro ruled out any chances of moving to the Red brigade, as he’s focused on his current team.
According to a report published by ESPN, Hamilton stated that he doesn’t plan on changing the team. He further added that he would not retire soon, as it is believed that he will push for the much coveted eighth world championship.
Talking about the contract renewal, Lewis Hamilton said that there isn’t any “panic” to get it done as he’s got a good relationship with the team principal and the team in general. Hamilton’s contract ends at the end of this season.
