“STFU You Bi*ch”: Conor McGregor Accused of Doing ‘Drugs and Steroids’ by Khabib Nurmagomedov’s Manager After His Mockery of Henry Cejudo
At UFC 288, Henry Cejudo contested for the UFC bantamweight championship against Aljamain Sterling. He was defeated in a split decision at the Prudential Center in Newark, New Jersey. Cejudo is widely regarded as one of the best fighters in UFC history. But the three-year break had to have had some impact on him. Nonetheless, ‘Triple C’ showed a warrior’s heart and demonstrated why he is among the greatest of all time. Although it was disappointing for Cejudo’s supporters, former UFC two-division champion Conor McGregor seemed overjoyed with the former’s defeat.
On his official Twitter account, ‘The Notorious’ mocked Cejudo. As a result, he received criticism from Cejudo’s manager, Ali Abdelaziz.
What did Ali Abdelaziz say about Conor McGregor?
Following Cejudo’s defeat at UFC 288, McGregor sent multiple tweets at the bantamweight champion. He even mocked ‘Triple C’ in a video for his fighting technique. ‘The Notorious’ later removed all the tweets. Nonetheless, the tweets made the news.
Cejudo previously posted a video on his YouTube channel highlighting McGregor’s weaknesses and suggestions for how he may improve his game. As a result, it is clear that McGregor exacted his vengeance on it.
At least he is fighting instead of you doing drugs and steroids and talking from the side lines, STFU you bi*ch https://t.co/yxwlTF5c03
— Ali Abdelaziz (@AliAbdelaziz00) May 7, 2023
However, McGregor’s action didn’t settle well with Dominance management founder Ali Abdelaziz. He took aim at McGregor’s layoff and also accused him of consuming drugs and PEDs. Abdelaziz wrote:
“At least he is fighting instead of you doing drugs and steroids and talking from the sidelines, STFU you bi*ch.”
The rivalry between McGregor and Abdelaziz is not new. The latter is also a manager to former UFC champion and McGregor’s rival Khabib Nurmagomedov. In the lead-up to their fight in 2018, Abdelaziz and McGregor exchanged verbal jabs at each other. Ever since then, the rivalry is still fresh.
Henry Cejudo’s reaction to McGregor’s video
When asked about McGregor’s video in the post-fight press conference, Cejudo seemed unfazed by it. He did, however, remind ‘The Notorious’ of his defeat when he returned from his layoff against Khabib Nurmagomedov.
‘Triple C’ looked pleased with his showing against Aljamain Sterling. He also discussed the response he received from the audience when the winner was revealed. As a result, Cejudo stated that the hatred will just inspire him to do more.
However, following his defeat, it is unclear whether ‘Triple C’ would continue fighting, as he removed his gloves post-fight. But it remains to be seen whether the former two-weight champion and the UFC can reach an agreement.
What are your thoughts on Cejudo’s response to McGregor? What do you guys think about Abdelaziz’s tweet?
