Days After Bagging $1,000,000+ in Boxing Debut, Conor McGregor’s Friend Dillon Danis Sees ‘Easy Payday’ Against Nate Diaz in ‘MMA’
After multiple successful boxing events, a crossover boxing promotion organization Misfits is now targeting to have MMA on its card. To begin with, the very first fight they have opted out for is Nate Diaz vs. Jake Paul but amid this offer from Misfits, Conor McGregor’s friend Dillon Danis has found another opportunity to seize an easy payday, as per a tweet from Fight Punch. Danis recently had a six-round match at the AO Arena in Manchester in which Logan Paul emerged victorious via disqualification. Even though Danis lost the fight in an embarrassing setting, he still went home with over $1 million payday as per his comments on Piers Morgan Uncensored. After his loss against Paul in his boxing debut, Danis without wasting any time is now set to test his skills in his area of expertise which is MMA and make some easy money.
‘El Jefe’ has previously competed in the Welterweight division and has a professional fighting record of 2-0-0 in Bellator MMA. His last fight was in 2019 at Bellator 222 against Max Humphrey which he won via submission in the first-round. Since then, he didn’t take up any fight until recently when he made his boxing debut against Logan Paul. Danis’s most recent fight which took place on October 14, 2023, was a total buzz mixed with controversies that ended up in disappointment for the fans worldwide. Now MMA seems like the best option for Danis to explore given his past experience in the sport.
