FACT CHECK: Did Hasbulla and His Friends Get Arrested in Dagestan?

Hasbulla Magomedov became a household name in the world of MMA ever since his call-out videos for elite athletes went viral on social media. Following that, his fame skyrocketed because of his rivalry with Abdu Rozik. He soon signed a multi-year contract with leading MMA promotion UFC. Although Hasbulla’s career has taken a lift, the 20-year-old Russian sensation couldn’t stay away from trouble.

According to reports, Hasbulla Magomedov was recently arrested in Dagestan with his friends for violating traffic rules. Let’s dive deep into the reports of his arrest.

Hasbulla was arrested in Dagestan

The Russian has a genetic disease that prevents his body from producing growth hormones, causing him to be significantly smaller than the usual adult person. However, Hasbulla continues to live his life to the fullest.

The 20-year-old is a car enthusiast who is frequently spotted enjoying wild drives. However, a recent wedding party went too far, and Hasbulla and his companions were detained for irresponsible driving.

As per reports by Red Corner MMA, Hasbulla and his friends drove recklessly and were interfering with other drivers. Therefore, they have been taken into custody by the authorities. The official page of Red Corner MMA wrote:

“Police in Dagestan arrested Hasbulla and some of his friends for violating traffic laws. According to Dagetan’s Internal Affairs, Hasbulla and others drove out into the street and were interfering with other drivers. The entourage was taken into custody and charged with administrative violations. According to them, they were celebrating their friend’s wedding.” 

Red Corner MMA also uploaded a video of the 20-year-old celebrity. In the video, Hasbulla can be seen shouting and pointing fingers at other vehicles on the road. Followed by footage of cars driven irresponsibly. Later, Hasbulla and his friends are shown held by the authorities.

Hasbulla’s Relationship with UFC Stars

As aforementioned, Hasbulla earlier made call-out videos for UFC fighters. One of the fighters that he impersonated was former UFC champion Khabib Nurmagomedov. Interestingly, Hasbulla has ties with the Russian MMA legend.

The 20-year-old is a neighbor of UFC lightweight champion Islam Makhachev. As a result, Hasbulla has a good relationship with Team Khabib. He is often spotted during their fights.

Hasbulla also signed a UFC PR deal last year, in which he will promote major events on social media. Thus, fans will see him more often at the pay-per-views and other important events.
