Gen.G and T1 are two of the strongest Pacific teams. They have world-class coordination and team play. In addition to that, their players are top draws no matter where they play in the world. Both teams are from Korea and how fated it is that one has to eliminate the other from this match.
Head-to-Head
The very first time these teams faced one another was in 2020, the same year Valorant came out. In the very first match, Gen.G won 2-0 against T1. Since then the teams have faced each other a record eight times. There was a time when both teams were in North America as well.
However, history has been kinder to Gen.G as they have won five out of the eight times these teams played each other.
Predictions
If one were to go by just looking at the history, Gen.G has higher chances and if recent performances were an indication, T1 has the chance of winning. T1 has won 4 out of the last 5 matches they have played while Gen.G has lost all five. That is why we believe T1 is going to win this series 2-1 and get one more notch on their nameplates in this storied rivalry.
