Valorant Pacific League is nearing its final stages as we get into the playoffs. That means we are nearing the Ascension League. This article will cover some of the announced information about the tournament.

Valorant Champions Tour has an overwhelming number of tournaments in all of its circuits. Initially, this confused a lot of people. However, now that most of the leagues are nearing their end, people have a clear idea of what to expect. The VCT Americas, EMEA, and Pacific league winners will head to Masters while the others will compete to head into Ascension Leagues.

One of the regions has already announced where they are going to hold their Ascension tournament. Valorant Pacific Ascension League: Everything You Need to Know

The Pacific Ascension League will be the biggest event for Tier 2 Pacific Teams. The winners will get a chance to qualify and be the partner teams for two years for Valorant Pacific, given that they win the league. Now, the tournament will start on 28th June.

This is a really special occasion since this will be the first time a Valorant Esport tournament will be played on South-East Asian soil. In addition, we have details about certain components of the league. Let us discuss them below.

Schedule

The matches for the tournament will begin on June 28th. The last day of the tournament is July 8th which we assume is going to be the Grand Final. As for the matches, we do have the schedule for the matches since all the teams have not been solidified yet. We will update this article when Riot Games releases an official schedule for the matches.

The tournament will be held in Bangkok, Thailand at the Queen Sirikit National Convention Centre(info according to Liquipedia). This means that the venue will host all of the playoff matches. We are yet to reveal where to find out where the group stages will take place. When Riot updates the venue we will post it here.

Teams

The tournament will feature ten teams, and each of the teams will represent a sub-region within the Pacific as a whole. The winners for each of the regions have not been crowned yet but the tournaments for each of those regions will end on these days.

  • Korea – June 3
  •  Vietnam – June 4
  •  Indonesia – June 4
  •  Thailand – June 4
  •  Hong Kong/Taiwan – June 4
  • Malaysia/Singapore – June 4
  • Philippines – June 4
  • Japan – June 4
  • Oceania – June 10
  • South Asia – June 11

After these regional tournaments finish, we will have the team names and their rosters updated here.

Format

The qualifying ten teams will be divided into two groups. From there we will have a single round-robin with both groups competing in best-of-five matches. Subsequently, the top three teams in each group will qualify for the playoffs while the topmost team in each group will directly advance to the semi-finals.

The second and third-place teams will go on to the quarter-finals. The single round robin will start on June 28th and run until July 4th. From July 7th, the playoffs will begin which will be a single elimination bracket. All matches in the playoffs will be best of 3 while the grand finals will be best of five. The winner of the tournament will be the Pacific League Ascension winner and will play in the Pacific League for 2024 and 2025.
