Lewis Hamilton makes fun of himself with the butt scratching video
Lewis Hamilton and Mercedes had a rather tough day at the office in Spa, as Hamilton, who despite having secured pole, wasn’t quite able to dominate the Belgian GP, as Vettel brushed him aside very early on the in the race.
Vettel then did not give up on the lead, managing the race and his tyres to perfection in order to keep Hamilton at bay.
And it wasn’t like Hamilton was breathing down his neck all through the grand prix, as the Mercedes package did not quite have the power or the performance to put the Ferrari under any kind of pressure.
The exhausted Hamilton had a rather embarrassing moment in the driver’s room post the race, where in the camera caught him wiping and scratching his butt. Obviously he had been sweating profusely during the race and wanted to be at ease after the race, but the broadcasters did not quite allow him the ‘private time’ that he yearned for.
A lot of fun was poked at Hamilton post the race and now he has come up with a post to laugh at himself and jump on the bandwagon of ‘poking fun’.
Hamilton came up with catch phrases like ‘Yeah, oh yeah, it feels so good’.

Hamilton and Mercedes would now be gunning for a strong return in Monza after Spa turned out to be a Ferrari dominated race.
Monza has traditionally favoured Mercedes more than what Spa has provided them with and they’ll try and take heart from it.
Do you think Mercedes can find it within themselves to beat Ferrari in their home grand prix?
