A video has flooded the internet in which Carlos Sainz is spotted indicating that he has broken up with his long-term girlfriend Isa Hernaez. This comes amidst the ongoing rumors about the two splitting up after some reports of cheating emerged.

In the video, Sainz was speaking about how he spends his time when he is at his home ahead of the Spanish GP this weekend. “When I’m at home I take time to spend with my family, my dog, my girlfriend if I have one,” he said.

The Ferrari star’s statements raised some eyebrows among the fans as they began to put together a few recent incidents that suggested that the two have in fact parted ways. Meanwhile, an F1 journalist, Michael J Thompson put a tweet breaking the story about their breakup. In doing so, Thompson also revealed that “the numerous cheating rumors surrounding their relationship might have been the last straw.”

Posting on Twitter, Conni wrote that two of Isa’s best friends had unfollowed Sainz on Instagram in the past week. Conni also pointed out that Hernaez did not attend the Monaco GP last weekend. Sainz and Hernaez were often spotted together in the paddock during the race weekends.

Nevertheless, any official confirmation on the same is yet to be made. With Sainz’s home GP weekend right around the corner, there is no doubt that the Spaniard will be flooded with questions about his relationship status. It remains to be seen whether or not Sainz confirms the rumors.
