“My Grandma Nitted Sweater”: Dwyane Wade Trolls Himself on IG after fans roasted him for his ugly white sweater at Game 3 vs Nuggets
Dwyane Wade is a legend of the game, but there are times when even a legend is called out for some shoddy work. Such was the case, when Flash turned up at Game 3 of the NBA Finals wearing a questionable sweater. A sweater that NBA Twitter took notice of and roasted him for. But, D-Wade knows how to take a joke and decided to troll himself on his own Instagram.
Game 3 saw the Miami Heat take on the Denver Nuggets in what was an exciting matchup. Despite an exciting game, the cameras were more focused elsewhere. Like the celebrities in the building. Basketball royalty were present, with Magic Johnson, Pat Riley, and a slew of others in attendance. One of the others was Wade, who was spotted in the sweater his grandmother knitted.
Dwyane Wade trolls himself on Instagram with pictures of himself in a sweater his grandmother “Nitted”
Ever so often, an NBA superstar ends up getting roasted on social media. And, there have been plenty of times over the years that players have really got it. And, tonight, that player was none other than Miami Heat legend Dwyane Wade.
Wade turned up to Game 3 of the NBA Finals in a questionable-looking sweater. Obviously given his celebrity status, the cameras took notice of his presence. Every chance they got, Wade was in the spotlight, and a lot of focus was on his sweater.
As they always do, NBA Twitter caught a whiff of this and decided to roast The Flash for his poor dressing sense. He got it pretty badly, but he took it in stride. He even went so far as to troll himself with an Instagram story, that was poorly worded. Seeing as he spelled knitted as “Nitted.”

It’s great to see the Hall of Famer poke fun at himself along with the rest of the NBA world. A good distraction for the Heat fans, considering how the night unfolded for the team.
All cameras were focused on D-Wade in the midst of a disappointing night for the Miami Heat
Dwyane Wade was the center of attention at last night’s match between the Miami Heat and the Denver Nuggets. After all, with the other celebrities alongside him, it’s no wonder the cameras were attracted to him. But, celebrities, and his grandmother’s sweater aside, there wasn’t much else for the cameras to focus on, especially for the Heat fans.
The Heat suffered a fifteen-point loss at the hands of Jokic and the Nuggets, letting their homecourt advantage slip away from their fingers.
D-Wade and the Heat will certainly be hoping things are different come Game 4. Hopefully, this time around, Miami brings their A-Game and Wade wears some less noteworthy clothes.
