Shaquille O’Neal Shares Jackie Chan Weeping at Clips from His Youth
Recently, a clip surfaced of Jackie Chan crying while looking at his clips from the bygone days. The 69-year-old actor became very emotional after watching his younger self perform some impossible feats. Shaquille O’Neal, who had told us a few months ago that he has just nine summers left, could relate to the Hong Kong actor’s clip. He shared it on his Instagram story soon.
Over time, we’ve heard a lot of bizarre statements coming from Shaq. However, the one that he made in January surprised us all. Talking to Jamal Crawford and Nischelle Turner, Shaq revealed how he only has nine summers left on the planet.
Shaq explained how when he was 40, a comedian said he only has 20 summers left. At the time of the filming of the video, Shaq was about to turn 51; hence, only 9 summers left.
Perhaps the clip of Jackie Chan weeping made him think about aging as well.
Both Chan and Shaq were incredible athletes in their prime. They did some unbelievable things in the past, which they can now proudly look back at. However, the fact that their bodies no longer allow them to recreate those moments of greatness ought to make them introspective at times.

That might have led Shaq to share the Jackie Chan clip on his Instagram stories for his 31.1 Million followers to see. Chan suffered quite a few serious injuries because of his dangerous stunts as well. That could also be a reason why he got so emotional.

Father time comes for all. And there is nothing one can do to stop aging. However, that doesn’t mean Shaq is just sitting there and waiting for impending doom. He also revealed what he does to delay the inevitable.
Shaq reveals steps he’s taking to avoid turning old
As we all know, Shaq is a fitness enthusiast. As soon as his hip healed from the surgery, he was back at the gym. Apart from maintaining his figure and appearance, here’s all that Shaq said about steps he’s taking to stay younger, on the same episode of The Big Podcast.
“I’m taking every anti-aging thing there is. You know what I’m taking now? Anti-aging cookies. They got anti-aging gummies. I’m taking everything right now.”
Clearly, Shaq meant it when he said that he didn’t want to turn old. However, at heart, Shaq is still a child. And at the end of the day, that’s all that matters for us fans.
