Tyrese Haliburton and Brandon Ingram Takes Full Advantage of Jalen Brunson Forgetting His Wallet
Tyrese Haliburton recently secured one of the most lucrative rookie extensions in the NBA, signing a $260 million deal with the Indiana Pacers. However, the 22-year-old is still as keen to spend his friend’s money as the average person.
Currently, Haliburton is training with Team USA ahead of the FIBA World Cup. He is on his way to Spain, where the USA team will take on Slovenia. But before leaving the country, the Pacers star decided to indulge in a bit of mischief. As can be seen in his Instagram, the young guard and his Team USA teammate, Brandon Ingram took full advantage of Jalen Brunson forgetting his wallet.
Team USA was in Las Vegas for their training camp and had their exhibition game against Puerto Rico. The team comfortably won 117-74 and is now prepared to embark for Europe. However, before their departure, Haliburton happened to come across a stray wallet in the locker room.
Following the practice session in Vegas, New York Knicks star Jalen Brunson forgot his wallet in the gym. Therefore, Haliburton and Ingram decided to buy some snacks with their teammate’s money.
Hours before their flight to Spain, the two bought bags of chips and soft drinks from the nearest vending machine. Haliburton held up a bag of Funyuns proudly for Brunson to see as he bragged about stealing money from the wallet.

Ingram was seen holding a Gatorade and a couple of snacks as well in the video uploaded on social media. The price of the purchase was at least $15. Brunson would probably not mind the sum missing from his wallet, provided that the cards in there are returned safely.
At the end of the day, it’s just a bit of lighthearted pranking between teammates. As Haliburton pointed out, Brunson probably doesn’t mind the fact that $15 is missing from his bank account. Especially, considering he makes close to $26 million a year.
