“Kevin Durant will never be beloved like LeBron James”: Shannon Sharpe performs psychoanalysis on the Nets star for his repeated controversy

Shannon Sharpe went off on Kevin Durant, calling him a ‘snake’ and emphatically said he’ll never be loved like LeBron James or Stephen Curry.

Shannon and KD have been at loggerheads of late. The former used a fake quote by the Slim Reaper on his morning sports show, which the latter took exception to. Durant called out Shannon on Twitter a few weeks back.

The Pro Football Hall of Famer didn’t initially respond to Durant’s vitriol. However, he made a comment about KD’s free agent move to Golden State in response to other’s tweets. This led to a showdown between the two which ended in Sharpe blocking Kevin Durant on Twitter.

Shannon Sharpe takes more shots at Kevin Durant, compares him to LeBron James

KD’s move to the Warriors gets him hate from NBA fans to this day – nearly 2 years since he signed with the Brooklyn Nets. It truly was a move that broke the parity of the league for 3 years. This is pretty much like the hate LeBron James got for forming the Heatles.

Durant is facing the same levels of hate yet again ever since getting James Harden as his teammate. He’s also been adding fuel to this fire by disrespecting Russ and Steph of late. This gave Shannon an opportunity to have yet another go:

“Ain’t no telling how many accounts he’s got. Someone tweets something derogatory about Lebron or this one or that one? It might be him! As great as KD is, you gotta take a shot at Steph Curry? The man who welcomed him with open arms! WHY?! Because KD don’t like KD.”

“KD is upset that he’s not beloved like Lebron, like Steph. And he’s never going to be. And that’s ok. But you do this, and you wonder why people think your a weasel, a snake.”
